I'm back!!!

Miller and I got to have lunch with all the ladies at Aunt Kate's bridal luncheon.

We had to practice cheering for Aunt Kate and Uncle Karl at the rehearsal dinner. Great Grandma is a good clapper.

We liked clapping together.

Miller and I took out all the magazines. We just wanted to keep Great Grandma occupied.

Sorry I don't have more pictures of the wedding weekend. We all had a lot of fun and Aunt Kate was just beautiful, but Mom and Dad were delinquents with the camera. How hard is it to push one button?

Finally back in the D for a weekend. I feel like I've been gone all summer. My cousins came over for a picnic and then we walked over to the Dream Cruise. Only in Detroit do people pull up chairs to the side of the road to watch traffic all week. (I will admit, though, that it was actually pretty fun.)

Lyla and I love to share food with each other. I missed her!

So happy to be reunited with my car!

Uh, Mom? I think my shoe is coming off.

Yup.

I need a caddy. No golfer worth her salt carries her own clubs!

Water hazard.

I love you too, Bubby.

It's always important to rehydrate.

Videos I forgot to post earlier...

This is one to watch. Mommy gave me my very first swimming lesson in Grandma's and Grandpa's pool. I learned how to go under water. I wasn't really too happy about it but I was brave like a big girl.

Wagon ride with Miller!

17 months old

Chillin' in the pool at Grandma and Grandpa C's.

Daddy says I have an engineering mind.

Big girl chair.

Floating with Daddy.

Reading a new book with Grandma Great.

Pushing the baby stroller like a good mommy.

I got very comfortable with Grandma after Mom and Dad left. She kept me safe when I was unsure about Grandpa.

A bath with a pool view.

Getting in some reading for pleasure.

Helping to feed Mindy.

Mom came back and we made the move to Grandma and Grandpa Mac's. Miller was there too! What do you think of our mohawks?

We practiced pouring together.

PJ time!

Bubble wands are great for sucking, even when soapy.

Run, Grandpa, run!!!

We're not getting out. Again! Again!

Swimming in the bay.

The water is nice and warm.

I tried it, but I didn't end up liking my life jacket very much.

Sand castles with Grandma.

Am I supposed to lick my fingers now?

Mom and I found a fun rock to play on.

Time to dry off.

I worked up a huge appetite at the beach, so I pounded this mac and cheese. Too hungry to use a fork.

See?

Straws generally keep me busy when everyone else is trying to eat.

Miller and I went climbing after dinner.

Race you to the top?

We made it. Now what?

We dumped out the Cheerio box and ate off the floor like Brody and Napoleon. Fun!

It was a big project, but Miller and I were the right people for the job.

Come on! Wagon ride time!

Miller! Grandma! I can't wait all day!

Buh-boh! Buh-boh!
