One last thing...

This is a video of me playing with a very special friend. And with that, I bid you (and 2010) adieu.

On the move

Well, fans, I'm reading up on Michigan because Mom and I are about to go there for two whole weeks. We are driving up tomorrow with Aunt Julie and Miller. We are going to spend lots of time with Aunt Kate, Uncle Karl and Kitty because we barely ever get to see them. Then Daddy and Brody will come when it's Christmas time. I am going to see so many relatives and have so much fun! I told Mom that she has to take lots of pictures, but I probably won't be able to create a new post until after the new year. Thanks for checking out my blog all year. Happy holidays and safe travels!

Awww! I'm really going to miss you, pal. You keep Daddy safe and come to T.C. soon.

They are fun to taste too, but Mom doesn't like that very much.

Brody's ears are the best thing ever! They're floppy and soft, and very easy to grab onto.

I love you too, Brody.

... but I only last a couple seconds on my knees. I'm going to work on my core muscles and have Miller teach me how to crawl when we go to Michigan.

I'm getting super strong with my arms...

I want to get a taste of this shiny metal thing first.

Ha! Mom found me. But I'm not ready to come out just yet, ok?

Ooooh! This is not a strange corner. This is a fun corner!

Since I can push myself backward, but can't crawl forward, I keep finding myself in strange corners. And yes, this hair is for real.

A much better fit. Aunt Ginette-ification complete!

Uh oh! This was the first attempt at "Aunt Ginette-ifying" me. My head is huge!

Oh, we get to rip it open?! This is my kind of activity.

So this is what Christmas is going to be like? People just give you stuff?

Here's Lexi. We went to watch her in a gymnastics show. She was amazing!

Lexi took this picture of me and (part of) Aunt Ginette.

She was very serious about those peas. I can tell she cares about my growth and nutrition.

We went to visit my cousins in Michigan. Lyla was so nice. She shared all her toys with me. Here she is feeding me fake peas.

However, my new love for spoons does not make it ok to try to feed me squash. Not happening today, Mom.

I would like to issue a formal retraction: Spoons are not the devil. They are actually quite useful. I officially like spoons now (most of the time).

I can totally get my feet in my mouth, and I love doing it on the changing table. Mom's just not fast enough with the camera.

9 months old!!!

Happy 9-month birthday to me...

Such a young age and I've already started doing impressions. Fresh out of the bath with my comb-over, I call this one, "The Donald."

I wish I could crawl like her.

Ava came over once in a while to check me out.

Quinlan, Ava and I had fun tearing up a bunch of tissue paper.

This is Quinlan. He's 6 months old, and my mommy used to work with his mommy.

Haaa! He didn't fall for that at all!

Remember, Buddy, what's mine is yours and what's yours is mine. Right? Now let me see your bird.

I still don't like those spoon things, but I have no problem with the food itself. I prefer to drink my pureed mango, thank you.

Have you heard about the super freezing temperatures in Chi-town? I am perfectly happy going out in this marshmallow man suit. Can't move, but I'm warm.

I rolled over here and pulled Horton off the shelf all by myself.

Thanksgiving weekend and a really big Monday afternoon

Fine. I'll feed myself one more time just to prove to you what a big girl I am. That's it. That's all I got. Phew! Bedtime.

My first time standing without someone's help! Now are you impressed?

Peek-a-boo!

Even further...

How about this? I can roll all the way under the bed.

Alright, well if feeding myself is not impressive enough for you, then I'll figure something else out...

Aren't you proud of me?

Ok, so first, when Mom picked me up this afternoon I decided I was starving. I was already in my car seat and ready to go home, so I decided to hold my bottle all by myself . That way, Mom was still able to get us on the road. I drank the whole thing with no help! This is me telling my glow worm all about it.

Now this is the best position for putting up ornaments.

Edible?

Hooray for Christmas!

Yeah! Decorating is fun!

Ahh, so this is why Mom and Dad moved a giant tree into the house.

Brody found a good napping buddy in Uncle Paul.

I was sitting on Grandma's lap, but Brody decided he was not getting enough attention so I shifted over to Grandpa. It's ok, Buddy. I'm flexible.

Grandpa and I had such a nice nap together this summer, we thought we'd try it again. Yup, still fabulous.

I've decided that I like to eat puffs... and Brody has, too. He tries and tries, but Momma makes sure they reach my mouth first (although sometimes I spit them out for Brody just like he's a baby bird).

I was sitting here, minding my own business, playing with my toys. Then all of a sudden, Brody comes out of nowhere and knocks me over. He likes to try to claim my things now, but watch out, Buddy! My grip is getting stronger, and your tail is almost within reach.

I am very good at multi-tasking.

Loving my new bath location.

"Trust me, Dad, Tom Brady will carve up the Pittsburg defense."

I like to drink water best out of Mom's and Dad's glasses, but sometimes I settle for this thing. It has nice handles, but I can't always get it tipped the right way.
